IMPORTANT: With SmartTV Module Firmware TVHBMZ1 v1.30 the plug finding method has been further improved! While both times the RED LED is used, in the earlier version it just blinked on/off whereas in the latest version it actually shows a blinking count of 3x versus 1x. Details below:

USING THE NEW FIRMWARE
TVHBMZ1 v1.30+

1. Find the CAN bus distribution connector with the brown and brown/red wires going to it (according to the appropriate manual)

2. Connect the module to power and the INPUT to the module with an empty slot on the CAN connector. The green LED should light up and the RED LED should blink 3x. RED LED 3x blink means the COMAND plug (the one you need to find) is still connected to the CAN BUS.

3. Disconnect one plug at a time after the other (always tap unlock on the remote to wake up the data bus in between) until the RED LED stops blinking 3x and instead blinks 1x. You will have the COMAND plug in you hand at that point!

4. Now connect the OUTPUT from the module to that plug and check if you get a BLINKING GREEN LED. If so, install the connector caps according to the manual and enjoy!
