SmartTOP additional convertible top control offers Peugeot 207 CC, 307 CC and 308 CC owners more comfort and functionality of their vehicles. Thanks to the SmartTOP module, the convertible top can also be opened and closed while driving at a speed of up to 40 km/h. With the One-Touch function the need to stop the vehicle and the cumbersome holding down of the top button is eliminated. After a short press of the top button, movement of the top is automatically executed.

These two main functions ensure that the convertible is used open more often. Various other additional features also help simplify general use. “Our additional convertible top controls offer a comfort that, once experienced, you would not want to do without,” explains PR spokesman Sven Tornow.

With it the vehicles windows can be opened and closed from outside via the original remote control. The All-Windows button within the interior, makes it possible to close all windows with One-Touch. In addition, operation of the windows is possible for up to 60 seconds after switching off the ignition. The top movement in progress is not interrupted by starting or stopping the engine. If necessary, the SmartTOP can be completely deactivated.

The convertible modules are individually programmable. Thanks to a setup menu, functions can be carried out via the cars display. With a standard USB port on the SmartTOP convertible module, connecting and configuring the device with the home PC is also made possible. In this way software updates can also be run, which are provided by Mods4cars free of charge.

The aftermarket SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller for Peugeot 207CC made by Mods4cars now ships with an improved Plug and Play wiring adapter harness. The new harness makes installation even easier and locks connections between module and vehicle electronics into place more securely.

Automotive aftermarket electronics specialist Mods4cars has overhauled the design of the custom designed Plug-and-Play wiring harness for the SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller kit. The new connectors make it impossible to mate plug and socket the wrong way around. Now instead of simply connecting two plugs, there is a custom designed socket which mates perfectly and securely with the matching plug and includes a locking latch.

Using the Plug-and-Play wiring adapter harness which comes as part of the kit, installation of the SmartTOP module is extremely easy and gives 207CC owners a quick and simple way to obtain the benefits of having a SmartTOP controller installed: The top can be opened and closed while driving up to a speed of 50km/h (~32mph). A quick tap on the top switch is enough to start a full automatic operation. Additionally the top can be controlled from the original factory key remote. No changes are necessary to the original remote.
