The SmartTOP convertible top add-on module for Mercedes-Benz SL R231 Roadster will be available beginning January 2013. With this module installed, the convertible top can be opened and closed while driving at slow speeds by just tapping the switch once. Thanks to the remote one-touch function one key press on the original key fob is all that is required to activate the top operation; gone is the annoyance of having to continually depress the top control button. An easy installation is guaranteed because of the specially developed plug-and-play wiring adapter.

Thanks to the custom in house engineered wiring kit the module can be installed by anyone in just minutes. All it takes is removing one connector from the convertible top controller box and plugging the wiring kit in between.
Additional Key Features: Remote control of convertible top + Open/Close the top while driving + One-Touch power convertible top!
