All SmartTOP modules come equipped with a standard USB port. Thanks to the USB connection it is possible to quickly and easily configure the functionality according to personal taste and to update the product firmware online. All that is needed is a computer and the Mods4cars support software called m4cconnect. The Windows version is available at www.mods4cars.com and the Mac version is available in the Mac App Store.

SmartTOP convertible top module for BMW 3 Series Convertible E46 with 3 new functions

The SmartTOP add-on module for BMW 3 Series E46 allows the convertible top to be opened and closed while driving with a one touch function. The top can also be operated from the original key fob. Now we have added 3 new functions to our product:

Automatic door locks:
Set power locks to automatically lock and unlock the doors when you drive.

Home Light:
Remotely activate the front and tail lights for 30 or 60 seconds.

Mirror Park Assist:
This feature can automatically dip down the passenger mirror in reverse gear.

We have permanently lowered the price of the SmartTOP convertible top add-on kit for Audi A5 Convertible. The new retail price is now only 249 Euros + tax. The module allows opening and closing the top with just a short tap on the console switch. Additionally the top can be operated from the factory key fob remote, up to the full range of the RF signal and without the need to hold a button down.

The latest product in the SmartTOP series allows easy one-touch operation from the center console switch. It is no longer necessary to hold down the switch for the entire duration, the top opens or closes fully automatically. The top can also be operated from the original factory key fob remote, allowing owners to open or close the top with one-touch convenience from a distance. A simple key combination on the remote activates the top.

This port allows our customers to connect the product to their computers or laptops and quickly update the module firmware or configure the different user programmable options. Updates are available free of charge for the life of each product. The software program is now available not only for Windows but also for Mac OS.
