STHFMZ2 SLK R172 folding mirrors do not work properly

Problem:

When using the STHFMZ2 remote folding mirror feature, the mirrors will sometimes not fold in or out and sometimes only one mirror will fold in or out.

Solution:

The car very likely already has a folding mirror feature built in. Disable the folding mirror feature on the module and instead use the factory folding feature. It should be accessible in the in-dash setup menu settings for the car.
