Is it possible to add folding mirrors to the STHFBW2 just like on the STLFBW3?

We are often asked if or when we would be adding the very popular and convenient mirror folding by remote feature to the STHFBW2 the same way it is present in the older STLFBW3 and STHFBW1 modules.

Unfortunately due to technical limitations in the way the data-bus is set up in the 4 Series and 2 Series, this is not possible.

We apologize for not having better news regarding this very popular wish, but we can only work within the parameters of the provided data bus and command structure and since BMW introduced more separation between different systems in the car, we can not add features to our convertible top module which cannot be controlled from that segment of the data-bus.
