Is it possible to play DVD's with this module installed? Is this a video input or TV tuner?

Question:

Does the TVLBMZ1 / TVHBMZ1 / TVLBBW1 / TVLBVN1 module allow playback of DVDs in the car navigation computer or entertainment system?

Answer:

Our module is NOT a TV tuner and our module is NOT a DVD player or "DVD playback enabler". Our module removes the restiction the manufactureres impose on playback WHILE DRIVING. If the factory system has a video input or DVD playback capability or a TV tuner already built-in but will only give you a warning screen that playback is not possible "for your safety" while the car is moving, then our module will bypass this restriction and allow the existing system to be used *BY THE PASSENGER* while the car is in motion.

We have to explicitly warn about the risk of distraction and have to point out that the manufacturers block video playback while driving for liability reasons. Therefore we MUST also point out that WE (mods4cars) can NEVER be held liable for any damage or injury whatsoever resulting from installation and use of the video-in-motion (smartTV) modules.
