TVLBBW1 video in motion not working when stopped

Question:

SmartTV works great while parked and driving. However, when I'm driving and come to a stop (traffic light as an example) the safety message is displayed and the video is not viewable until the car starts moving again.

Answer:

The module provides an automatic mode which is only active when the car is moving and a permanent mode which is always active. On most US models video output only works at standstill AND with the handbrake pulled up. For these cars the module MUST be in permanent mode inorder to bypass the speed signal while driving and to bypass the handbrake requirement when standing still.
