STLBMZ1 No blinking LED after trying all connectors on the CAN bus on SLK, CLK or SL

Problem:

Even after trying all connectors the LED on the module still only lights up solid, none of the plugs produces a blinking LED.

Possible Cause:

The most common cause is reversed polarity on one of the CAN plugs. Unfortunately the polarity is different between SL and CLK/SLK, so the wiring harness can not be shipped pre-assembled.

Make sure the wires are inserted into the plugs correctly: Red wire in slot 1 and black wire on slot 2 (SLK and CLK). Red wire in slot 2 and black wire in slot 1 (SL).

The slot numbers are embossed on the backs of the plugs. Use good lighting and, if necessary, a magnifying glass.
