Infiniti G37 Convertible top stops mid-way when using the remote
Problem:
When using the remote to open or close the top, the operation may interrupt half way randomly. Usually more likely when using the remote first thing in the morning or after the car has been sitting for a little while.
Solution:
The Infiniti G37 was designed to never operate the top without the ignition/engine running, so the battery voltage cutoff inside the top control unit is programmed way too sensitive. We have had positive reports from many customers using battery tenders or chargers to keep the battery full, having the weak factory battery replaced with a better, stronger model or just using the remote only after the car was driven for a while and the battery having been topped off that way.
Unfortunately there is nothing else that can be changed in our module or software. The voltage cutoff is an analog hardware feature in the factory control unit.
