An error shows up after installing the SmartTOP module. Fault: Steering Assistance

Problem:

After completing the smart top installation it works fine, windows and top work - but has left a "Fault: Steering Assistance" in the dashboard alerts. The battery was NOT disconnected during install.

Solution:

The steering wheel angle sensor needs to be recalibrated. To do this, simply drive the car for a few blocks, then turn the steering wheel three times hard to the left until it stops, right until it stops and finally back to center and drive some more. The error should disappear.
