When trying to run m4cconnect under Windows, an error about a missing MSVCR100.dll is shown

Problem:

When trying to run m4cconnect under Windows, an error message is shown about a missing DLL and the app does not atart.

Cause:

Windows does not come with all runtime libraries out of the box. Usually all DLLs needed to run m4cconnect are present. In some rare case, where they are not, a small package from Microsoft needs to be installed first.

Solution:

Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime from here:
