STLBMZ1 on SL R230 issue: Weird behavior or windows only work on one side

Problem:

When the SmartTOP module is installed according to the OLD installation manual that calls for installation in the driver's footwell (front) of the car, the module will appear to work at first but exhibit strange behavior like remote control of the windows will result in only one or two windows activating instead of all 4. Top operation from the console button might not work or only the driver's side window will roll down and all operation stops.

Solution:

All SmartTOP STLBMZ1 modules MUST now be installed according to the NEW manual found here:

In particular, the module must be installed in the fuse box behind the passenger seat (LHD) / driver seat (RHD) under the false bottom of the little storage compartment.
